11 Months!

I can't believe i'm doing Zayn's 11 month update! In one month it will be his first birthday, a whole year since I held him in my arms for the first time. He no longer needs me for every single little thing and is getting more independent each day. He's pulling himself up onto all the furniture around the house and it able to stand for long periods of time and can shuffle along holding onto the lounge or the coffee table with ease. He can also walk really well holding hands so any day now i'm predicting he'll take him first steps which will be pretty much around the exact same time Kye did - he was 11.5 months. His vocabulary has always really just come alive the last few weeks! He can say roughly 10 words - mumma, uh-oh, ball, gone, no, Kye, dog, car, up, bye-bye and can make lots of different sounds like ba, ma, da. He can understand yes and no as well and is very good at shaking his head to indicate no! Zayn's appetite is also increasing as well so I have begun introducing new foods and new ways of preparing foods, he's currently still having Breast milk daily as well which I don't have a time frame in mind for him to stop, it's not doing him any harm. He's such a smart little cookie and is really begin to explore things so much more now he can move around on his own and have greater control of his body and not need to be with me and relying on me for everything. But in saying that at home he'll explore and play and not really worry about where I am or what i'm doing too much but as soon as we are in a public place or there are 'strangers' around he becomes very clingy to me so he's still in a big stranger anxiety phase. 

1st Birthday Plans! Some people go all out and very fancy and formal for their child's first birthday I have never really seen the point in it, he'll never really remember and won't even 100% understand what's happening, so like I did for Kye we are just going to go simple a basic. We are going to go down to our local park and they have big BBQ/Picnic shelters throughout and we are just going to set up in there, lots of balloons and streamers and have a nice BBQ lunch and the kids can all play in the park and just have a nice day with close friends and family. I've ordered him so cute little cupcakes with 1 on them but haven't had a chance to look into getting any presents or anything for him yet and i'm not sure exactly what to get him both Kye and Zayn have more toys than they know what to do with!
